PELATIHAN MICROSOFT EXCEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI GURU-GURU DI KABUPATEN BANYUASIN

Abstract

Microsoft Excel introductory training is one of the community service activities conducted by Palcomtech Palembang STMIK lecturers. The purpose of this activity is to increase teacher competency, especially teachers in SMAN 3 and SMP 4 Banyuasin Regency. The implementation of the activities carried out for four days, namely Friday 2 Nomber 2018 until Monday 5 November 2018. The method of carrying out the introduction of microsoft excel training is done by lecturing and practice methods. The training activities are divided into three parts, namely the first presentation on the basis of microosft excel, formulas and functions on Microsoft Excel, the second part is the practice of using Microosft Excel. In this section participants practice the material presented by the speaker and continue with question and answer and in the third or final section participants are asked to do exercises to determine the level of understanding of participants. The result of this activity is to increase the competence of teachers to use Microsoft Excel. The success of the implementation of this activity can be seen from two indicators, namely the first positive response from participants who actively participated in activities from beginning to end. Both participants can do the exercises well and on time which means participants can understand well the material presented. Knowledge about microosft excel is very useful for teachers to help their work and in the teaching and learning process
