The importance of security, makes everyone feel the need of security guarantees foreverything that includes himself, both from its activities, and assets owned. The value of an assetthat is owned, encourages everyone to implement an effective and efficient security system forprotection. One of them is the Locker Cabinets which are generally still use a manual lockingsystem. The purpose of this research is to design a locker cabinet door security system by utilizingkeypad and E-KTP based on Arduino Uno R3. This system uses an RFID reader with a frequencyof 13.56 MHz and an ATMega328 microcontroller which acts as a controller or controller circuitand is tested by testing hardware and software to determine the performance between softwareand hardware on the device. The results of this study are RFID Reader can detect E-KTP with amaximum distance of 2.5 cm and the solenoid will lock back after 3 seconds. In addition, Keypadand E-KTP can be an alternative key access in replacing manual keys because E-KTP has adifferent unique code making it more practical and efficient for a system that requires verificationbecause almost all Indonesian people have an E-KTP so this system provides security and comfortfor the user community in protecting their personal assets.Keywords— Cabinets, RFID, Mikrokontroller ATMega328, Arduino, E-KTP.
