Technology is very supportive of developments in various fields, one of which isinformation technology in the field of electronics. This has an impact on irregular electricityusage, causing electricity costs to rise. The purpose of this study is a remote control andmonitoring system using the esp8266 microcontroller with an Android-based fuzzy logic method.This tool uses the main components consisting of an LDR light sensor, a 5v relay with 4 channels,a 7 watt light, an esp8266 microcontroller signal processing circuit, and an internet network(wifi) as a data transmission medium to firebase. Testing this tool is done by connecting a 5vrelay, then switching with the esp8266 microcontroller as a signal processor. The test resultsshow that the compilation of one of the lights is on, then the LDR light sensor will discuss thelight intensity that will be managed by the esp8266 microcontroller and sent to the database, viathe wifi network to be able to connect with the android application. When the database can changeso it can be seen from an android application from near or far. As a whole, the results of theseries testing show every series of work well.Keywords— Microcontroller, Arduino, Android, fuzzy logic method, control and monitoringlights, firebase.
